Welcome to Bent-Tree Studio! ... built in 2014 and a fairly new addition to the art culture on Hornby Island, British Columbia.
My sincere and heartfelt thanks to my husband Sam for building his first-ever studio and for helping me make my dream come true! My passion is painting and now I have a beautiful little Studio that I can paint in anytime I want. I have to say it was nice to get a huge part of my living room in my house back after all my supplies and canvases as well as my easel left. I have many paintings displayed on the walls of my Studio and you may even catch me in the middle of a creating a new piece of artwork when you come by.
Bent Tree Studio officially opened to the public on August 10, 2014 just in time to be a part of the Studio/Garden Show. Proceeds from this event and many other art events over the years have gone towards building a New Art Centre that just recently opened in 2025.

NEW HORNBY ISLAND ART CENTRE
News Update: The new Hornby Island Art Centre opened in the Spring of 2025 and is located on Hornby Island just off Sollans Road.
ARTSHOWS:
Artshows will be held on a fairly regular basis at the New Art Centre throughout the year!
Studio Art Crawls are also happening usually in July and November.

Hours: Open by appointment. If I am in my Studio, I sometimes have my "Open sign" out by the Studio or you can call for an appointment. I am usually around the yard or not far away. Phone: 250-897-6286
