Welcome to Bent-Tree Studio! ...one of the newer additions to the art culture on Hornby Island, British Columbia!
My sincere and heartfelt thanks to my husband Sam for building his first-ever studio and for helping me make my dream come true! My passion is painting and now I have a beautiful little studio that I can paint in anytime I want. I have to say it was nice to get a huge part of my living room in my house back after all my supplies and canvases left. I have many paintings displayed on the walls and you may even catch me in the middle of a creating a new piece of artwork when you come by.
Bent Tree Studio officially opened to the public on August 10, 2014 just in time to be a part of the Studio/Garden Show. Proceeds from this event will go towards building a New Art Centre in the not-too-distant future.
TWO NEW ART CARDS AVAILABLE.... See Artcards on right side margin above.
I will be showing at various GROUP ART SHOWS this summer:

HIAC - September 2nd to September 7th, 2018 at The Community Hall with Opening Tuesday, September 4th at 7 p.m.
THE CO-OP - The Hornby Island Co-op has a group show for the months of July and August which I will participate in.
STUDIO TOUR: It was a pleasure to meet the many visitors to my studio on Canada Day this year. Over 80 people dropped in. The Studio Tour as well as the Home and Garden Tour the day before was held as a fundraisder for both the Hornby Island Festival Society and the Hornby Island Arts Council. Great day!
