9" x 12" - Oil I love the bright colours of the beak and feet on these sea birds spotted regularly near Sandpiper Beach.
18" x 14" - Oil You guessed it.... in my kayak, paddling out from Sandpiper Beach!
6" x 6" - Oil on Linen - Jan. 2015 Common site on the island with an abundance of wild roses and rain. If you look closely you can usually see a reflection in the raindrop on the hips.
6" x 6" - Oil - Jan. 2015 Just starting to open and unravel!
14" x 11" - Oil - Aug. 2011 Rocky is hunched; Rocky looks like a thug but he is just a heron hanging out having a break on a rock near the forest trail by the beach at Helliwell.
18" x 14" - Oil - Dec. 2014 Inspired by looking up into a beautiful Crab Apple tree!
18" x 14" - Oil on Wood Panel - Feb. 2013 Inspired while sitting on the deck of the Thatch Pub, Hornby Island at the end of the summer! The sky looked like it was on fire!
18" x 14" - Oil - Dec. 2014 This painting was a 2nd version from another painting I did outside while admiring fuchsias in a hanging basket that swayed in the breeze. It is quite unique and I really like the colours and the feeling of the flowers swaying in the breeze!
20" x 16" - Oil - May 2012 Then look the other way ....walking on the bluffs at Helliwell Park in the winter!
